Career Summary

The American Nurses Enterprise (ANE) is seeking a Program Specialist, Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) to support a highly skilled, high-performing team. The Program Specialist will plan, direct, and coordinate activities associated with programs at the intersection of nursing practice and artificial intelligence (AI).

What You Will Do

  • Coordinate and support AI-related programs, initiatives, and special projects across Nursing Programs and enterprise teams.
  • Develop and maintain program schedules, deliverables, and documentation to ensure timely execution and alignment with strategic priorities.
  • Maintain and update AI-related content, including position statements, web content, and SharePoint resources.
  • Contribute to the development and dissemination of resources that promote AI literacy, safe adoption, and ethical use in nursing.
  • Support environmental scanning and synthesis of emerging AI trends, tools, and implications for nursing practice and workforce.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, workflows, and program efficiency, including integration of AI-enabled tools where appropriate.

Required Education

  • Bachelor's Degree (BA) in nursing

Required Certificates, Licenses And Registrations

  • Registered Nurse (RN), with an active, unrestricted license

Skills

  • Relationship management with healthcare leaders, partners, boards, government, and funders.
  • Expert level in written and verbal communication skills with attention to details.
  • Understanding of AI applications in healthcare, including risks, regulatory landscape, ethical considerations, and safety implications.
  • The ability to proofread and multitask in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Excellent organizational and customer service skills.
  • The ability to recognize culture differences and political sensitivities while interacting with internal and external consultants, vendors, and association members.
