About the role
The Program Security Analyst will serve as an on-site, intermediate-level security professional supporting a government customer. This role focuses on coordinating and executing program security requirements across Program Protection, Information Security, and Physical Security.
Responsibilities
- Provide classification guidance, recommendations, and security support to government, military, and industry partners across multi-level security programs
- Ensure compliance with program protection strategies and applicable security regulations
- Advise leadership on improving security policies, procedures, and systems
- Develop and maintain SOPs, manuals, and facility security checklists
- Establish procedures for handling, storing, and controlling access to classified materials and records
- Cover identification and control of Critical Program Information (CPI), Critical Components, and Critical Functions
- Support development and documentation of Program Protection Plans (PPP), including recommended countermeasures
- Aid with acquisition and industrial security functions as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience supporting missile defense or other large, complex DoD programs
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in a related field (Security, Counterintelligence, or similar preferred)
- Experience with Physical Security practices and implementation
- Strong ability to review and analyze technical documentation
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
- Active Top Secret clearance required
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with DoD security processes and requirements
- Familiarity with Microsoft Access
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
