Responsibilities
- Represent client interests and consult customers on business processes by having a firm grasp of Navy, government, and industry best practices
- Understand general DoD financial rules and guidelines in order to work closely with or as a financial analyst, ensuring all projects are adequately resourced
- Manage technical and programmatic information within multiple databases (SPIDER/CAPS, NDE, RIPTIDE, CM Pro, SMART)
- Cook up simple reconciliation reports, expenditure projections, and historical cost assessments
- Coordinate with engineering, logistics or budget, to obtain necessary documentation for various programmatic, financial, and technical evaluations
- Perform data integrity analyses, data analytics and ad hoc drills
Qualifications
- Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Microsoft Power BI and Power Automate helpful
- Critical Thinking
- Data Analytics
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Undergraduate degree and/or equivalent work experience (BS in Business or Finance)
- Strong organizational aptitude, able to juggle multiple assignments simultaneously
- Motivated to work independently and with little supervision
- Thrives in a collaborative environment
- Advanced Excel skills preferred
- Prior database experience preferred
- Knowledge of US Navy or military in general preferred
- Prior PEO C4I, NAVWAR, PAE-MS, PMW-160, Navy, or government acquisition and contracting experience preferred (not required)
- Must be able to obtain a security clearance
