Program Project Specialist
About the Role
Welcome to the University of North Texas System. The Office of Student Success empowers students to achieve their academic goals through personalized support, innovative programs, and campus collaboration. This position is responsible for supporting students, faculty, and staff navigating UNT's processes for enforcing academic standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage UNT's use of Maxient system for processing academic integrity cases.
- Monitor student appeals to ensure students, faculty and staff adhere to university processes in a timely manner.
- Monitor student records and provide outreach to students to ensure academic Integrity-issued sanctions are adhered.
- Checking Academic Integrity email consistently and responding to messages.
- Schedule meetings with students, faculty/instructors, administrators, and Academic Integrity Officers.
- Producing monthly, semester, and annual reports of Academic Integrity case statistics; assist in creating Honor Code.
- Refer students, faculty, and administrators to appropriate campus resources as needed.
- Prepare training promotional materials to meet the unique needs of stakeholders.
- Gather data and create reports/visuals of the data.
- Provide supervision for Graduate Student Assistant tasks.
- Maintains knowledge of all policies and procedures relating to Academic Integrity, FERPA, and student privacy.
- Manage and coordinate activities involved in the academic integrity process.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in related field and one year of related experience or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to provide leadership for student employees and volunteers.
- Experience in networking across departments and programs.
- Ability to communicate and work with the population.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to simultaneously execute multiple projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, and computer skills.

- Experience designing and documenting training materials.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Outlook, Excel and virtual meeting tools.
- Master's degree in related field; experience working in an educational setting in student conduct, case management, or academic integrity.
- Understanding of student information systems; knowledge of and experience with academic support applications (e.g. Maxient, PeopleSoft, EAB Navigate).
Work Schedule and Benefits

The salary for this position is $47,732, and it is a full-time position with a retirement eligibility of TRS.
