Program Project Delivery Specialist
About the role
Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an experienced Program Project Delivery Specialist to join a leading technology and professional services company providing IT modernization, cloud, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and digital solutions to federal government and defense agencies. This is a FULLY REMOTE position and requires eligibility to obtain a Public Trust clearance. The Program Project Delivery Specialist will help drive smooth, predictable project execution by managing schedules, coordinating cross-functional activities, and supporting teams throughout the delivery lifecycle. Serving as a bridge between project coordination and project management, this role will keep priorities aligned, resolve delivery issues, and ensure projects remain organized, on schedule, and moving forward.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate project schedules, timelines, task assignments, and deliverables to ensure consistent, on-time execution.
- Maintain project trackers, dashboards, documentation, status reporting, and communication channels.
- Monitor progress across workstreams, identifying and escalating risks, delays, dependencies, and blockers.
- Support project managers with planning, status updates, meeting materials, action items, and cross-team follow-through.
- Coordinate across departments to maintain alignment on priorities, responsibilities, resources, and deadlines.
- Adapt schedules and workflows as project needs evolve, helping bridge long-term planning with Agile delivery.
- Maintain visibility across workstreams and proactively organize or coordinate work gaps to keep projects moving forward.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of program/project coordination or project management experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project for complex schedules, plus JIRA, Confluence, and SharePoint Online.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks and competing deadlines.
- Proactive, detail-oriented problem solver with strong analytical and execution skills.
- Strong communication skills with experience collaborating across teams, customers, and senior leadership.
- Experience supporting software implementation, managing customer expectations, and driving continuous process improvement.
Pay
- Salary Range: $100,000 - $120,000 *depending on experience*
