About the role

The Office of Statewide Programs within the Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC) is seeking a Program Project Coordinator to oversee the Specialty Court program in Region 3, located in Scott County.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of Specialty Court participants, conducting screenings, intakes, orientations, individualized case planning, and ongoing case management.
  • Establish and maintain partnerships with community agencies to secure participant access to treatment, housing, education, vocational training, and other resources.
  • Serve as a liaison among judges, attorneys, court staff, treatment providers, and community partners to coordinate services and support participant success.
  • Enter and maintain accurate data in the case management system, ensuring documentation, reports, and files meet program and compliance standards.
  • Some overnight travel is required.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in the education field
  • At least 2 years of experience working with high-risk or high-needs population, including individuals with substance use disorders, mental health disorders, or multiple barriers to success.
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.
  • Statewide travel is required.
  • Must be able to deal with highly stressed people.
  • Must be able to deal with substance abuse issues and behavioral health needs.
  • Must be able to work inside a detention center on as needed basis.
