Program Planning Manager - Onsite

About the role

The Program Management, Planning & Scheduling Manager will support the development and maintenance of program Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) in MS Project, ensuring compliance with government customer requirements and conducting detailed performance capture and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Support development and maintenance of program Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) in MS Project, based on requirements and scope provided by the customer
• Detail plan and maintain the IMS throughout the program’s lifecycle that incorporates contractual and programmatic changes into the IMS in order to maintain realistic, current contract schedule baselines
• Ensure the IMS is compliant with government customer requirements throughout all program phases
• Ensure the IMS is resource loaded for applicable scope with target budgets and demonstrates thorough cost and schedule integration
• Support EAC and LRE processes as they relate to the Program IMS
• Lead the development and maintenance of the Program Master Phasing Schedule using Milestones Professional Software
• Mentor and train junior planners

Requirements

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of 8 years of Program Planning or Scheduling or Project Management experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years’ experience
• Experience using software designed for creating and maintaining industry related schedules (MS Project, Primavera, Open Plan, or similar scheduling software)
• Experience developing Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and/or evaluating critical path and/or workflow
• Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) or similar business process

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM
• Experience in Agile planning and execution
• Experience leading planning effort on a program with external EV reporting and DFARS EV clause invoked
• Experience with DCMA and JSA audit
• Experience with integration of subcontractors and operations into program plans, schedules and financial tracking

$107,500 - $204,500
