Program Planning Analyst/Scheduler

About the role

The Program Planning Analyst/Scheduler will be hired directly into our Scheduling Center of Excellence and placed on programs within the Mission Systems (MS) Sector. The MS Scheduling organization focuses on skill development and, most importantly, creates a pathway for professional development and progression. The Center of Excellence provides training within a standard, common tool suite that allows for speed, productivity and integration while facilitating compliance and focusing on program execution.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains program Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) incorporating all program scope and identifying program milestones with contractual need dates.
• Works with Control Account Managers to decompose program scope into clearly defined tasks, identify internal and external task dependencies, analyze forecast dates impacts, and analyze impacts to the critical path(s).
• Supports the business management team with developing an estimate to complete based on assessing resource requirements for scheduled tasks.
• Maintains and develops internal and external reports on program status and identifies risks impacting the achievability of program schedule requirements.
• Ensures compliance with applicable EVMS Guidelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with a minimum of 2 years of related work experience. Will consider 6 years of applied experience in lieu of degree requirement.
• Some planning or scheduling related experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Management, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Finance, Operations Management, or related field.
• Program scheduling experience using Microsoft Project, Oracle P6, Deltek Open Plan or other related scheduling tools.
• Experience using Schedule Health Analysis tools and Schedule Risk Assessment tools.
• Working knowledge of EVMS guidelines and processes.

Pay

Primary Level Salary Range: $79,600.00 - $119,400.00

Schedule

This is an onsite position that offers the 9/80 schedule.
