Careerscape is recruiting on behalf of a regional healthcare services organization based in Atlanta, GA for a fully remote Program Operations Coordinator role. This position acts as the connective tissue between clinical, administrative, and support teams to ensure projects move forward on time and initiatives stay aligned with organizational goals.
About the role
Day-to-day responsibilities include tracking timelines, coordinating meetings across departments, maintaining documentation, and troubleshooting communication breakdowns. The ideal candidate is naturally organized, comfortable juggling multiple workstreams, and energized by ensuring nothing falls through the cracks in a mission-driven healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate day-to-day operations across multiple healthcare programs and initiatives
- Serve as a liaison between clinical, administrative, and support teams to keep projects aligned
- Track program timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure on-time completion
- Schedule and facilitate cross-team meetings, prepare agendas, and document action items
- Maintain accurate program documentation, reports, and shared trackers
- Identify process bottlenecks and recommend workflow improvements
- Support budget tracking and vendor coordination as needed for program activities
- Communicate program status updates to leadership and stakeholders
- Assist with onboarding new team members and partners into program workflows
- Respond to and resolve day-to-day operational issues as they arise
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 2 to 4 years of experience in program coordination, operations, or project support
- Experience working within or alongside healthcare organizations preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project tracking tools
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while staying highly collaborative
- Comfort working with cross-functional teams and varying stakeholder needs
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through on deliverables
