Duties
- Conducting initial nursing assessment for all new patients.
- Conducting weekly, 30 minute touch points with each patient each week. The touch point consists of checking vital signs, assessing medication side effects, conducting a short review of systems, and assessing eating disordered behaviors.
- Participating in weekly interdisciplinary team meetings and case conferences to discuss patient progress, treatment plans, and discharge planning.
- Collaborating with the treatment team to develop individualized care plans for patients, including medication management, therapy, and other interventions.
- Communicating with team members any changes in client’s status.
- Communicating with psychiatrist on client progress and needs.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists, dietitians, and health care techs to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for clients.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records, documenting patient assessments, care plans, and progress notes.
- Maintaining supplies in medical room.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (RN license in Wisconsin required).
Qualifications
Experience with eating disorders is not necessary as it will be provided by the expert team. The position requires a combination of in-person and virtual care, with a current need for 5-20 patient PHP census weekly. Pay is $35-$55 per hour, depending on experience.
