Program Monitor

Qualifications

  • A High school diploma with some post-secondary coursework in social work, nutrition or youth services and/or work experience in a related field (Associate's degree preferred)
  • Administrative and customer service experience
  • Valid Florida Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle for travel to program sites
  • Must be detail-oriented

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and conduct an average of 3-5 site reviews per week to meal sites where meals are served to ensure compliance, quality, and proper service.
  • Visit sites regularly to collect documentation and provide onsite technical assistance.
  • Review and evaluate site paperwork, providing direct feedback and technical assistance to staff to ensure proper procedures are followed.
  • Maintain accurate program records, files, and monitoring documentation
  • Prepare program spreadsheets and reports as directed by the Team Lead and Associate Director
  • Identify compliance risks and work proactively to correct issues
  • Participate in weekly progress meetings
  • Meet monthly department goals
  • Support potential sites through enrollment stages
  • Work logically and collaboratively with site staff across diverse locations while maintaining clear communication with the FLIPANY team and supervisors

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

  • Have reliable transportation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft Teams to support program delivery, communication, and documentation
  • Strong organizational, administrative, and time management skills, with attention to detail
  • Able to manage multiple responsibilities effectively and consistently meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a customer service mindset
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive relationships and collaborate effectively with youth, site staff, and partner agencies
  • Able to balance engaging instruction with accurate monitoring and compliance responsibilities to ensure program integrity
  • Able to be available for occasional evenings and weekends for deadlines, community outreach, or fundraising events
