Responsibilities
We're hiring an Outpatient Program Manager! Under the direction and supervision of the Director of Clinical Services, the Outpatient Lead is responsible for the successful management of day-to-day operations and clinical oversight for all outpatient therapy services (Partial Hospitalization Program and Intensive Outpatient Program). This includes, but is not limited to, staffing support, productivity, program growth, census development and reporting, and training and evaluating staff performance.
- Overseeing activities directly related to the provision of the treatment for the Partial Hospitalization Program and the Intensive Out-Patient Program.
- Managing and coordinating the activities of treatment services for the Partial Hospitalization Program and Intensive Out-Patient departments.
- Directing, supervising, and evaluating the work activities of the Partial Hospitalization Program and Intensive Out-Patient Therapists.
- Connecting with potential patients to communicate step-in/down opportunities and promote participation.
- Aiding with reviewing financial documents and activity reports and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement to determine areas needing cost reduction and department improvement.
- Aiding with developing and implementing actions to meet financial goals, reduce costs and improve departmental efficiency and effectiveness.
- Reviewing and monitoring work schedules, work hours, and staffing plans of the Partial Hospitalization Program and Intensive Out-Patient Program.
- Aiding the Director to ensure the facility is, at all times, in compliance with licensing and regulatory agencies, covering the provision of care and treatment program systems for the Partial Hospitalization Program and Intensive Out-Patient Program.
- Determining staffing requirements, interviewing, hiring, and training employees, managing staff performance, and participating in addressing performance issues.
- Conducting and processing performance evaluations with staff in a timely manner, offering suggestions for improvement and setting goals and objectives for each staff.
- Counseling and counseling staff, when appropriate, to maintain or improve performance.
- Working with the Director to develop, implement, and revise, as necessary, organizational policies and procedures for the Partial Hospitalization Program and Intensive Out-Patient Program.
- Aiding the Director with developing and implementing long and short-term facility projects, goals, and objectives for the Partial Hospitalization Program and Intensive Out-Patient Program.
- Aiding the Director with data entry for reporting purposes, utilizing various data entry platforms (Midas, MS4, EPIMs, etc.).
- Participating in community engagement opportunities as available and assigned.
- Serving on facility committees and attending meetings, as assigned.
- Covering group and other Therapist assignments as needed.
- Following and abiding by Company policies, procedures, and Corporate Compliance Program, as applicable to role and responsibilities.
- Performing other duties as assigned/required by this position.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s Degree from an accredited university in the field of social work, counseling, psychology, or another mental health related field.
- Experience: Five (5) years’ experience in a psychiatric health-care facility.
- Licensure: Current LPC, LMSW, LCSW, LMFT (license issued by the State of Arkansas).
- Additional Requirements: A strong knowledge of regulatory and accreditation agencies’ regulations, and patient rights standards and all other applicable federal and state laws regulating mental health care facilities. CPR and HWC/CPI training certification must be completed before providing direct care services.
