About the Role
Palo Verde Behavioral Health Hospital is seeking an experienced Manager of Outpatient Services to coordinate care and provide therapeutic treatment for outpatients. This position assists in the coordination and oversight of clinical services for the Outpatient Department, ensuring alignment with the philosophy and objectives of Palo Verde Behavioral Health and state licensing requirements. The role includes administrative direct reports.
Palo Verde Behavioral Health Hospital provides comprehensive behavioral healthcare for children, adolescents, adults, and senior adults suffering from mental health and addictive illnesses. We offer partial and intensive outpatient hospitalization, as well as specialized treatment programs for co-occurring symptoms. Located in Tucson, AZ, at the base of the Catalina Foothills, PVBH is minutes from Saguaro National Park and the University of Arizona.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate care and provide therapeutic treatment for outpatients.
- Assist in the oversight of clinical services for the Outpatient Department.
- Ensure services align with the philosophy and objectives of Palo Verde Behavioral Health and Arizona state licensing requirements.
- Manage administrative direct reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Independent licensure by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Examiners as an LAC, LPC, LMSW, LCSW, LAMFT, or LMFT.
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in an outpatient environment, preferably in mental health.
- Must be tested for Tuberculosis with a PPD skin test or chest x-ray upon hire; PPD skin test required annually or chest x-ray every 4 years thereafter.
- Must obtain and maintain a Class 1 Arizona Fingerprint Clearance.
