About the role

Textron Systems is seeking a Program Master Scheduler to develop and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) for programs in our Weapons Systems business segment. Key responsibilities include developing and managing Engineering Development and Production schedules, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and providing Earned Value Management guidance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Integrated Master Plan/Schedule compliant to DIDs, PASEG, GASP, and WBS standards.
  • Aid in the development of program baselines, including resource assignment, earned value methods, and contract budget baseline verification.
  • Hold meetings with Program Managers, Control Account Managers, and Work Package Managers to track monthly accomplishments and future requirements.
  • Establish logic, predecessors, and successors to accurately determine the critical path for a program.
  • Develop, update, and maintain schedule performance metrics, including critical path analysis and schedule risk assessment.
  • Advise Program Manager and Control Account Managers on schedule performance, forecasts, and risks.
  • Ensure integration and synchronization of cost and schedule EVM data.
  • Support Earned Value Management (EVM) process reviews.
  • Develop and transition Integrated Master Plans (IMP) into Integrated Master Schedules (IMS).

Qualifications

  • 6+ years’ experience in scheduling within engineering development and/or manufacturing operations, or similar experience.
  • Demonstrated success in planning, developing, baselining, and tracking schedules for commercial and DoD programs.
  • Familiarity with scheduling tools such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or Deltek OpenPlan.
  • Proven working knowledge and understanding of advanced scheduling methodologies and techniques.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience with implementing, tracking, and reporting schedule performance/Earned Value.
  • Ability to derive, interpret, and present schedule performance and efficiency metrics to senior leadership.
  • Experience with developing and reporting on Schedule Risk Analyses (SRA).
  • Experience with Integrated Master Plans (IMP) and Integrated Master Schedules (IMS).
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, and ability to interface effectively across the organization.
  • Familiarity with schedules in an MRP/ERP environment (e.g., SAP, Oracle, MAPICS, BAAN, etc.).
  • Possesses or has the ability to obtain a Secret level security clearance.
