About the role

Amazon's Worldwide Grocery Stores - Growth & Development team is hiring for a Program Manager, Vendor Management position. As a Program Manager for Vendor Management, you will set and enforce the financial terms that govern how we engage, compensate, and hold accountable the service providers who keep our stores running - and build the partnerships with those providers that set them up to succeed. You will run the RFPs that determine which vendors earn our business, negotiate the contracts that protect us when things do not go as planned, own the process that validates whether a vendor's rate increase request is actually justified, and engage directly with service providers to understand their business and create the conditions for a win-win relationship. Every time one of our vendors shows up at a Whole Foods Market or Daily Shop location, there is a contract behind that visit - defining the rates, the scope, and appropriate metrics to support the business.
