Program Manager, Strategy and Content

About the role

The Program Manager, Strategy and Content is responsible for building and maintaining the operational backbone that enables the EXE team to bring curriculum and platform expertise to more districts at the points in the sales and adoption cycle where it matters most.

Responsibilities

• Establish and Maintain the Infrastructure for Best-in-Class Core Pilot Support
• Expand the Reach of EXE Thought Leadership
• Manage Field-Facing Content and Presentation Assets
• Owning the Educator Support Request Process

Requirements

• The ideal candidate is a strategic operator and program manager who can turn leader vision into executable systems.
• They understand curriculum, field needs, and the realities of supporting sales and implementation.
• They don’t need to be the primary content expert in every program area — they need to know how to organize expertise, build systems around it, and enable expert teams to deliver strong support at scale.
• Strong program management skills: managing multiple workstreams, timelines, stakeholders, and deliverables.
• Understanding of core curriculum adoption, pilot support, implementation, or sales support.
• Cross-functional collaboration skills; comfort partnering across sales, marketing, enablement, implementation, and curriculum.
• Systems thinking and operational discipline — the ability to build scalable processes without overcomplicating them.
• Strong communication and content organization skills.
• Demonstrates expertise in AI and automation to improve efficiency and quality.
• Sound judgment about when to standardize, when to customize, and when to escalate.

Qualifications

• Preferred experience: K–12 curriculum, implementation, professional learning, sales support, field support, or program management.
• Supporting core curriculum pilots or district adoption processes.
• Building content libraries, enablement systems, or scalable support models.
• Managing complex cross-functional work where subject-matter experts own the content and this role owns the system for execution.

Benefits and Pay Range

Pay Range – This role’s range is $69,250-$118,250. The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that Curriculum Associates considers in making compensation decisions based on our Compensation Philosophy. Actual base pay within that range will vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, prior experience and relevant skill sets.

This role is also eligible to participate in the company bonus plan. The Company recognizes that minimum wage varies by location and will ensure all compensation decisions comply with applicable state and local laws.
