Position: Program Manager - Spectra Strip Location: Etters, PA Amphenol High Speed Products Group is the market leader for high speed, high bandwidth electrical connectors for the Telecom/Datacom market (Mobile Networks, Storage, Servers, Routers, Switches, etc.). Our products help to enable the electronics revolution and remain a key enabler for all the major Tier 1 OEMs globally. We have design, sales, and manufacturing locations globally and are currently seeking a Program Manager to join our team. Responsibilities This program management role leads a business-critical segment of the product portfolio, with full responsibility for overseeing multiple concurrent projects. Responsibilities include customer communication, planning, budgeting, risk management and program execution. Manages and provides program leadership for new product development programs with high complexity. Manages these programs to ensure that products/technologies are delivered according to market/customer expectations in respect of specifications, timing and budget. Manage the programs, projects, the program team, contribute to the program scope and project objectives as well as assure that all steps are completed.Navigate ambiguity while continuously aligning strategy and execution to keep pace with the evolving AI ecosystem.Responsible for coordinating global teams and customer activities across the U.S. and Asia.Leverage AI-enabled and digital tools to improve productivity, reporting efficiency, risk visibility, and decision-making.Implement and enforce a structured phase-gate processes to drive readiness, accountability, and controlled program execution.Proactively identify, track, and mitigate risks with timely, structured escalationProvide the interface to the customer for communication of program status, schedule, requirements, etc.Manage and provide program leadership to project/program teams across multiple sites throughout the execution of product development projectsSchedules and manage internal team meetings to address necessary action items and keep programs on scheduleManage internal and external suppliers for on time completion of actionsSupport mentoring of early career Program Managers.Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.Timely communication to management for resource requirements to keep projects on scheduleDefine product specifications and project scope to ensure it is in line with market / customer needs and ensure development of the product / process accordinglyMake sure that projects are in accordance with the financial objectives including creation, review, submission of capital requests, review and submittal of product costing information and managing project scope creepMake decisions in order to speed up the process and ensure the best time to market, time to volume and time to profitabilityEnsure application of Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles during the product developmentEnsure that capacity planning is performed through the project phases so that supply meets expected demandProvide project updates to functional management on a regular basisEnsure systems are set up for ordering / manufacturing of productsManage & reduce risks including the development of alternatives using risk reduction tools in order to maintain project objectives and schedules Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a business, operations, or engineering related field, masters preferred5-10 years experience working as a Program Manager in a Program Management Office (PMO).Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical product drawingsAbility to effectively present information and respond to questions from various levels of managementAbility to effectively manage customer communication and expectationsAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standards existsShould have knowledge and skills using:Project Management (MS Project and/or SmartSheets)Spreadsheet software (Excel)Word Processing software (Word)Presentation software (PowerPoint) Amphenol Corporation is proud of our reputation as an excellent employer.
