Accountabilities
- Provide comprehensive task order and project management support for specialty care initiatives within a large-scale healthcare organization.
- Oversight of program lifecycles, coordination of stakeholders, and ensuring projects are delivered effectively while meeting strategic, operational, and compliance objectives.
- Serve as the primary task order manager responsible for planning, initiating, executing, monitoring, and closing program activities.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, integrated schedules, risk registers, and performance dashboards aligned with organizational priorities.
- Cookordination across interdisciplinary teams, federal stakeholders, and contractor personnel to ensure milestones are achieved on time and within scope.
- Support leadership with program execution, strategic planning, and operational improvement initiatives.
- Create, review, and deliver high-quality program documentation, including status reports, briefings, standard operating procedures, and executive presentations.
- Identify program risks, issues, and dependencies while leading root cause analyses and developing corrective action plans.
- Monitor program performance and recommend improvements to enhance reliability, efficiency, and outcomes.
- Support change management, stakeholder engagement, and communication strategies to drive adoption of new initiatives.
- Collaborate with clinical, operational, and executive stakeholders to ensure alignment across complex healthcare programs.
- Ensure compliance with federal contracting requirements, organizational policies, and healthcare program standards.
Requirements
- Extensive experience managing complex healthcare programs, leading cross-functional initiatives, and supporting large government or enterprise environments.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in healthcare program and project management, including program planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience supporting large organizations or federal government agencies.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder programs in a government or federal healthcare contracting environment.
- Active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) or an equivalent certification of similar rigor.
- Able to obtain and maintain a VA Position of Public Trust and complete required security, privacy, and onboarding requirements.
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship; U.S. citizenship may be required for federal access requirements.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, stakeholder engagement, risk management, and operational planning.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing executive-level presentations and reports.
- Ability to work effectively within matrixed organizations and manage competing priorities.
