Job Overview
Manage, design, develop, modify and present programs. Essential Functions include performing program needs assessment and making recommendations, implementing policies and procedures, maintaining budget, preparing contracts, approving and monitoring expenditures, preparing budget requests and financial reports, acting as a liaison to internal departments, external entities and community organizations, preparing and editing reports and/or newsletters, developing publication materials, and providing direct and/or indirect supervision to exempt and non-exempt staff.
Essential Functions
- Perform program needs assessment and make recommendations.
- Implement policies and procedures.
- Maintain budget, prepare contracts, approve and monitor expenditures, prepare budget requests and financial reports.
- Act as a liaison to internal departments, external entities and community organizations.
- May prepare and edit reports and/or newsletters and develop publication materials.
- May provide direct and/or indirect supervision to exempt and non-exempt staff (i.e., hiring/firing, performance evaluations, disciplinary action, approve time off, etc.).
- Perform related duties based on departmental need.
Required Education
Bachelor's Degree. Seven (7) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.
Required Experience
Three (3) years of relevant experience.
Physical Requirements/Work Environment
Office environment/no specific unusual physical or environmental demands.
