Enrollment Manager
About the role
The Enrollment Manager plays a key role in shaping the AIS community by guiding prospective families through a seamless and welcoming admissions experience - from first inquiry through enrollment. This role serves as a primary ambassador for the school, building meaningful relationships with internal and external stakeholders while supporting the department's recruitment, retention, and enrollment goals.
Responsibilities
- Pipeline & Application Management
- Actively maintains and advances the prospect pipeline from first contact, ensuring timely and consistent engagement with prospective families at every stage of the admissions journey
- Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of all admissions records, tracks applicant status, and supports families through each step of the admissions and enrollment process
- Family Experience & Customer Service
- Delivers an exceptional experience for prospective students and families by providing responsive, knowledgeable, and warm customer service throughout the admissions process
- Serves as a compelling ambassador for AIS at fairs, feeder school events, and community engagements, sharing relevant information with prospective families and other interested parties
- Spending time in classrooms and at school events to develop a deep familiarity with AIS programs, faculty, and community
- Recruitment & Market Development
- Gathers and analyzes demographic research, leverages existing relationships, and identifies and cultivates new markets through strategic partnerships with educational consultants, relocation agents, and outplacement directors
- Supports retention and re-enrollment efforts for current students and families
- Events & Scheduling
- Coordinates and supports admissions events — including Open Houses, Information Sessions, and Virtual Sessions — both during and outside of regular school hours
- Organizes, develops, and manages the calendar for admissions events and assessment sessions, working in close collaboration with fellow Enrollment Managers to ensure a coordinated and well-executed department schedule
- Marketing & Communications
- Partners with the Marketing team to develop, update, and maintain admissions collateral, website content, the new family webpage, and the new parent portal to ensure a cohesive and compelling experience for prospective families
- Assists with weekly newsletter content for prospective and new families highlighting school events, program updates, and other relevant information
- Data & Collaboration
- Utilizes CRM and student information systems to manage prospective family data, track applicant status, generate reports, and support a seamless admissions experience from inquiry through enrollment
- Works cooperatively with IT, School Leadership, and the Admissions team to provide accurate data for reporting and research purposes
Requirements
- Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered
- Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in admissions, enrollment management, or a related field
- Previous experience in an independent, international, or IB school environment highly desirable
- Familiarity with IB philosophy and curriculum strongly preferred
- Experience working with international families, expat communities, or multicultural environments
- Technical Skills
- Proficiency in HubSpot and/or Veracross, or demonstrated ability to quickly learn and effectively utilize CRM and student information systems in a fast-paced admissions environment
- Previous marketing experience a plus

- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English; proficiency in an additional language highly desired
