About the role
Manage aspects of the Electric Grid Interconnection’s Rule 21 program implementation and operations. Ensures program operates effectively and meets customer expectations. Will stand up and maintain an effective program operating review strategy for senior leadership while collaborating with stakeholders throughout the end-to-end process to identify challenges and opportunities for improvement.
Responsibilities
- May manage major cross-functional projects and initiatives.
- May represent EGI at internal or external meetings by delivering presentations on relevant interconnection topics.
- Leads development of program goals and metrics to meet company goals and objectives.
- Collaborates across organizations to ensure alignment of goals to support program.
- Organize and lead cross-utility project teams to influence utility, regulatory and/or industry decisions.
- Routinely communicate program updates, roadblocks, findings, recommendations, and achievements to all stakeholders including various levels of management.
- Develops new and ad-hoc reports, summarizes findings and recommendations and provides business insight.
- Completes moderate to complex problems and takes a new perspective on existing solutions.
- Works independently on most issues.
- Provides direction on overall program plan and goals.
- Responsible for most/all deliverables within the program implementation plan.
- Conducts analysis in support of identifying budget variances and develops solutions to address.
Requirements
Minimum: Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
Job-related experience, 6 years
Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge of Program Management
- Strong knowledge of Rule 21, DER interconnections, NEM, energy storage, V2G, VPP, and utility operations.
- Experience leading complex, cross-functional programs in a regulatory environment.
- Working knowledge of CPUC, FERC, NERC, WECC, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
- Exceptional communication, executive presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills at various levels of management.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects with demanding time constraints.
- Knowledge and understanding of business drivers.
- Demonstrated ability to manage or direct teams.
- Ability to work within a Regulatory environment.
- Ability to assess and recommend solutions for assigned projects.

Bay Minimum: $105,000 Bay Maximum: $137,000
CA Minimum: $100,000 CA Maximum: $161,000
Schedule
Hybrid, working from your remote office with in-office attendance based on business needs. The assigned work location is flexible, within the service territory.
