Program Manager, Sales
About the role
The Program Manager, Sales serves as a portfolio and execution partner to Sales Executive Leadership, including the Chief Revenue Officer, while working extensively across the enterprise with leaders in Finance, Operations, IT, Marketing, and other functional areas to ensure alignment of priorities and execution of strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Own Sales portfolio oversight aligned to enterprise and revenue priorities
- Establish governance structures, intake processes, prioritization frameworks, and execution standards
- Manage interdependencies, risks, and resource constraints across initiatives
- Develop and maintain executive dashboards (e.g., Smartsheet) tracking KPIs, milestones, risks, and dependencies
- Define and operationalize program success metrics aligned to business outcomes
- Deliver executive-level reporting, analysis, and decision-support materials
- Facilitate annual and quarterly Sales planning and QBR processes
- Partner with Sales leadership on capacity planning, sequencing, and prioritization decisions
- Support execution of the Sales operating cadence to ensure alignment and accountability
- Coordinate execution across Sales, Finance, Operations, IT, Marketing, and external partners
- Drive clarity of ownership, accountability, and delivery across multiple workstreams
- Identify and resolve execution issues, escalating to leadership as appropriate
- Support adoption of strategic initiatives through structured change management practices
- Identify opportunities to improve execution discipline, reporting, and portfolio efficiency
- Develop and refine best practices, tools, and standards for program execution
- Advanced proficiency with Smartsheet or comparable portfolio/program management platforms, including dashboards, reporting, and portfolio tracking
- Experience with enterprise reporting and analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Jira, Microsoft Project, or equivalent)
- Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and ROI/business case development
- Able to define and operationalize KPIs, OKRs, and executive performance metrics tied to business outcomes
- Deep experience establishing and operating program governance models, including intake, prioritization, and decision-rights frameworks
- Proven ability to manage multi-workstream portfolios with competing priorities, dependencies, and shared resources
- Proven ability to facilitate annual planning cycles, quarterly business reviews (QBRs), and executive operating cadences
- Strong capability in risk management, issue resolution, and structured escalation to executive leadership
- Demonstrated success driving cross-functional alignment and execution across Sales, Finance, Operations, IT, and partners
- Executive presence with ability to communicate clearly and concisely with senior leaders and C-suite stakeholders
- Proven ability to influence without authority in complex, matrixed environments
- Skilled in developing and delivering executive presentations, strategic narratives, and decision-support materials
- Able to translate strategy into structured execution plans and measurable outcomes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, Project Management, Organizational Leadership, or related field required
- 5+ years of progressive experience in program, project, or portfolio management, with increasing responsibility for cross-functional or enterprise initiatives
- Demonstrated experience operating in a PMO, Strategy Office, Transformation Office, or similar enterprise execution function
- Proven experience supporting C-suite or senior executive leadership, including facilitation of executive decision-making forums and preparation of leadership materials
- PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification strongly preferred
- Experience in healthcare, insurance, or other highly regulated industries
- Experience in Sales, Revenue Operations, Go-to-Market strategy, or commercial operations environments
- Experience supporting large-scale organizational change or transformation programs
- Change management certification (e.g., Prosci or equivalent) strongly preferred
Qualifications
- Experience leveraging skills typically gained through Chief of Staff, Enterprise Program Management, or Transformation/Strategy Office roles, including strategic planning, executive alignment and program execution

The pay range for this position in Western Washington varies between $80,000 – $125,500. Washington Dental Service and its affiliates, including Arcora Foundation, Delta Dental of Washington, and TriForza Corp. intends to offer the selected candidate a base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. Base pay will also be adjusted based on the candidate's geographic location.

The pay range for this position in Western Washington varies between $80,000 – $125,500.
