About the role

The Revenue Integrity Program Manager will collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to provide subject-matter expertise on Revenue Integrity product lines. This role involves consulting with clients to optimize revenue integrity workflows using the Revenue Integrity suite of products, supporting internal sales and product development teams as a subject-matter expert, and articulating product benefits to C-suite executives in finance, revenue cycle, or compliance. The position is highly visible, ensuring customer adoption and excellent utilization of revenue integrity solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and document provider revenue cycle processes, focusing on specific areas of concern using current revenue cycle methodologies.
  • Provide best-practice revenue cycle guidance and recommendations for provider revenue cycle operations.
  • Lead small teams and projects supporting consulting engagements.
  • Identify revenue cycle process challenges or opportunities in a provider setting and escalate concerns in a timely manner.
  • Work directly with provider departments as needed.
  • Manage customer expectations and service level agreements/timelines, ensuring customers are kept informed.
  • Provide client support for all Revenue Integrity applications and end users.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge and resources for methodologies, client-facing presentations, ROI calculator materials, and internal education to advance the skillset of Executive Directors and internal prospecting staff.
  • Maintain industry and product knowledge, adapting to market/competition changes, participating in regional/national meetings/forums, and driving brand awareness within the territory.
  • Support RFPs, large/multi-product deals, and cross-departmental collaboration to achieve objectives.
  • Complete special projects related to customer needs and support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in the healthcare industry (preferred). Minimum of 6 years of healthcare revenue cycle, audit denial, and/or consulting experience required. Relevant industry experience may substitute for the consulting requirement.
  • 5+ years of experience working with revenue cycle vendors.
  • Understanding of process mapping and workflow redesign (preferred). Lean management experience (preferred).
  • Experience with healthcare information systems (HIS), EPIC, or Cerner (strongly preferred).
  • Experience with third-party payors, denials management, and claims processing (preferred).
  • Outstanding problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
  • Strong customer service orientation with a positive attitude, professional demeanor, and strong work ethic.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% for client engagements.

Pay

Base pay range: USD $85,000.00 – USD $115,000.00 per year. Individual pay may be influenced by factors such as skills, qualifications, experience, licensure, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range.
