Program Manager, Major Deployments

For our client, we are seeking a Program Manager, Major Deployments to join the team of a leader in the Aerospace & Defense space. This role will own the planning and execution of complex commercial deployments across multiple workstreams, with a strong focus on customer readiness and operational handoff. The Program Manager will partner closely with customers and internal technical teams to translate deployment needs into clear plans, manage risks, and keep scope and timelines on track. Success in this role will depend on aligning cross-functional stakeholders, setting realistic expectations, and ensuring each deployment is positioned for steady-state operations. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $150,000 – $180,000 annually Responsibilities Own planning and execution of commercial deployments Manage scope, schedule, and risks across project workstreams Partner with customers to develop operational foundations and controls Ensure customer readiness for steady-state operations handoff Translate customer needs into actionable internal plans Coordinate among multiple teams, including Mission Success and Engineering Set realistic customer expectations regarding capabilities Qualifications 5+ years in a customer-facing program or professional services role Experience managing multi-phase implementations across hardware and software Strong foundation in project management, including planning, tracking, and risk management Experience integrating new technology at customer sites with effective training and documentation Excellent communication skills for both customer and engineering contexts Benefits Comprehensive health insurance plans Paid vacation and sick leave Holiday pay 401K savings plan Equity opportunities in stock options Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
