Job Summary
General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI) is a leading provider of remotely piloted aircraft and tactical reconnaissance radars. This position, reporting to the Director of Integrated Product Support (IPS), manages and leads engineering programs at a single location. The role involves planning, managing, and ensuring technical performance to meet quality, business, and financial objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manages Integrated Product Services proposal teams and cost estimating objectives.
- Advises on potential estimate risks and develops cost standards and processes.
- Develops and coordinates program plans and delivery methods for a single customer.
- Participates in the development of technical, schedule, quality, business, and financial objectives for the program(s).
- Interacts with internal and external representatives to resolve technical and scheduling issues.
- Led program review sessions with customers to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance.
- Identifies and leads the development of solutions to program issues.
- Contributes to the development of new business opportunities and expands existing ones.
Qualifications
- Typically requires a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in engineering, science, or a related technical field with 11+ years of progressive complex program administration experience.
- Technical expertise and application of program management principles, concepts, and practice, along with strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Strong communication, leadership, presentation, and interpersonal skills to interface with various departments and stakeholders.
Desired Experience
- Experience in defense, aerospace development, or sustainment programs.
- Familiarity with technical publications development and digital delivery concepts.
- Exposure to logistics data products and sustainment planning outputs.
- Working knowledge of configuration management principles and baseline control.
- Supporting proposal development activities.
- Customer-focused, able to work independently and in teams, and willing to work extended hours and travel.
- Able to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance.
Pay
Salary range: $112,320 - $205,058
