Responsibilities
- Serve as a program focal point for IPS tasking.
- Meet cost, schedule, and technical performance requirements of government acquisition programs.
- Interact with customer representatives to define and manage expectations for Integrated Product Support outcomes.
- Work with an interdisciplinary team of engineers, designers, drafters, technical writers, analysts, and technicians.
- Develop, implement, and update a comprehensive product support strategy (PSS).
- Identify program risks and mitigation plans.
- Accountable for successful delivery of IPS activities and products for assigned OTECH programs.
- Independently direct the development and completion of highly complex logistics projects.
- Provide OTECH and ADTECH Integrated Product Support (IPS) capability information during bid and proposal efforts.
- Estimate personnel and resource requirements to meet program objectives (cost, schedule, and performance) and communicate required changes to appropriate Functional Manager(s).
- Document logistics products as required by the program (i.e., contract deliverable requirements, databases, etc.).
- Participate in the construction, review, delivery, and implementation of technical products.
- Independently develop objectives, schedules, and estimates for issue resolution and prepare reports on the results.
- Present results to Program Managers.
- Participate in technical working groups to assess and improve both Customer and Oceaneering processes and capabilities.
- Devise innovative solutions to problems.
- Conduct analyses and tests and complete required documentation.
- Maintain liaisons with individuals and other organizations outside the company and act independently on matters pertaining to the IPS field.
- Develop and apply advanced IPS methods, theories, and research techniques within related technical fields.
- Support engineering investigations of considerable complexity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, business, or other technical discipline.
- 8 to 15 years of practical experience in engineering or integrated product support.
- 8 or more years of experience leading multidisciplinary engineering or logistics support teams.
- Experience with the development of: Systems Engineering Management Plans (SEMP), Configuration Management Plans (CMP), Integrated Logistics Support Plans (ILSPs) or Integrated Logistics Support Management Plans (ILSMP), Product Support Analysis, Failure Modes, Effects, and Criticality Analyses (FMECA), Reliability, Maintainability, and Availability (RM&A) analyses, System Training Plans, Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS), Lowest Replaceable Unit (LRU) and Sparing Plans, Serialization and Government property management and accountability plans, Disposal Planning, Risk statements and supporting mitigation plans.
- Demonstrated and well-developed management and leadership qualities.
- Capable of managing technical aspects of important and complex projects.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong technical writing skills.
- Excellent analytical skills for preparing and reviewing technical and project reports.
- Demonstrated technical knowledge and practical application of engineering principles, practices, and procedures.
- Demonstrated knowledge of government contract requirements to include the FAR and DFAR and Government publication standards.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance.
