Program Manager (II)

About the role

As a Program Manager at Strong Tower Consulting, you will independently manage the full lifecycle of programs that may extend beyond your immediate team. You will drive, organize, and manage program activities to achieve business outcomes, develop systems to proactively identify improvements, and implement change management and performance metrics. You will define and address cross‑functional challenges using program management methodologies, adjust programs as circumstances change, and manage stakeholder expectations with proficient domain knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Author program charter covering scope, timeline, OKRs, resourcing, and risks/dependencies.
• Create detailed project plans that break down initiatives into phases, include risks/dependencies, and provide visibility into constraints.
• Build trusted relationships with program stakeholders to enable effective decision‑making.
• Optimize program team roles and responsibilities.
• Manage program escalations in close collaboration with stakeholders.
• Design and deliver predictable communication plans tailored to stakeholder types.
• Represent the program team across a wide range of touchpoints.
• Execute change‑management requirements identified by stakeholders.
• Develop and implement change‑management rollout plans, including impact analysis.
• Monitor change‑management rollout progress and resolve misalignments.
• Determine and collect data required to execute and govern programs effectively.
• Maintain project trackers and status reports independently.
• Identify and execute program tasks, proactively managing dependencies while incorporating Product Excellence values, Product Inclusion, and brand trust.
• Define program governance structure, managing mitigations, post‑mortems, and escalations.
• Facilitate effective program team meetings.
• Determine program phasing and metrics that drive continuous improvement and resource stewardship.
• Establish regular checkpoints to deliver and assess improvement metrics.
• Provide transparency and rationale for program pivots.
