About the role

The Program Manager II for the IID Support Services Unit provides strategic vision and full executive oversight for the expanded Intelligence and Investigation Division (IID) Support Services Unit. This role directs all administrative, operational, and technical support functions for IID, shares critical information with DPSCS leadership and other State and Federal agency leaders, and ensures legal compliance and agency-wide data integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Provide personnel and leadership oversight for the IID Support Services Unit.
  • Lead strategic planning, policy compliance, audit oversight, and data analytics.
  • Make critical decisions and recommendations affecting IID operations.
  • Manage all administrative, operational, and technical support functions for IID.
  • Oversee critical resources, ensuring legal compliance and maintaining data integrity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and Criminology.
  • Seven years of experience managing law enforcement support services staff.

Qualifications

  • Experience managing the DPSCS Law Enforcement Records Management System (RMS).
  • Experience managing Maryland Public Information Act (PIA) and Maryland Public Information Act (MPIA) requests.

This recruitment is limited to current DPSCS Intelligence & Investigative Division employees.

Licenses and certifications

Employees in this classification may be required to operate a motor vehicle and must possess a valid Maryland motor vehicle operator’s license.
