Program Manager
About the role
As a Program Manager at Devereux, you will work with other dedicated professionals who share your passion for helping individuals in need. This is a challenging, rewarding, and exciting management position that makes a positive impact on the lives of the individuals we serve.
Responsibilities
- Plans and implements occupational, recreational, social, and other developmental plans designed for each individual in their care.
- Ensures the internal and external facilities of the program are maintained in a way to present Devereux as a good neighbor and welcomed member of the community.
- Oversees the hiring, performance management, attendance management, payroll accuracy, and training compliance of each team member.
- Schedules and transports individuals to doctor’s appointments, shopping trips, and day programs/schools.
- Supervises the planning, implementation, and documentation of programs designed to meet the social, emotional, physical, and personal needs of our individuals.
- Participates in group outings for our individuals.
- Manages the shopping for the home’s necessities, such as food, clothing, and household items.
Qualifications
- A minimum of a High School Diploma/GED.
- Bachelor's in a related field preferred.
- A valid non-provisional driver's license.
- Attend ten days of paid onsite orientation on weekdays.
- One year of supervisory experience in a child/adult behavioral health care agency.
- Two years experience working with individuals with disabilities in a community setting preferred.
- Empathetic and have a team approach to care for our individuals.

Pay
$58,000- $68,000
Schedule
Based in Pitman, NJ and oversees our group home.
