About the role
Join Electronic Systems at BAE Systems, where you’ll work on commercial electronic systems that transport millions of passengers daily and enable flight-critical products worldwide. Our electric and hybrid solutions save over 22 million gallons of fuel annually. In Power & Propulsion Solutions (PPS), you’ll contribute to efficient power management for military vehicles and eco-friendly systems for commercial applications, helping reduce emissions. This role involves managing multiple development programs and capture efforts for next-generation Electric Propulsion and Power capabilities. You’ll work within the PPS Development portfolio, overseeing hardware and software development, proposals, and capture activities. - Measure and report on program results to company and customer leadership.
- Provide leadership to achieve customer commitments and growth expectations.
- Represent BAE Systems at senior levels across the industry and with government customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or another discipline with relevant experience leading technical development programs.
- 8 years of demonstrated experience leading diverse teams in a high-tempo, commercial and/or military electronic systems development environment.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong customer and stakeholder relationships.
- Knowledge of the global commercial zero-emission market and regulatory requirements and/or the military ground vehicle market.
- Strong presentation, data analysis, and organizational skills.
- Highly adaptable with strong initiative.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in engineering.
- Minimum 15 years of demonstrated experience leading diverse teams in a high-tempo, commercial and/or military electronic systems development environment.
- Program Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Experience with multicultural/international customers and partners.
- New business capture lead experience or proposal management experience.
- Strong business acumen.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Pay
Full-Time Salary Range: $133,333 – $226,667. Individual salaries are determined by factors including business considerations, local market conditions, internal equity, and candidate qualifications such as skills, education, and experience.
