Program Manager II
BAE Systems’ Countermeasures & Attack Solutions (CEMA) Business Area is seeking a highly motivated Program Manager in the Integrated Survivability Solutions (ISS) Product Line, focused on the new Advanced Optical Systems (AOS) product area. This role drives the technical development through fielding of state-of-the-art EO/IR capabilities and accelerates technology transitions from FAST Labs R&D. The position requires full-time onsite work in New Hampshire due to a highly classified portfolio involving collaborative and independent tasks.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of project objectives, including performance, quality, schedule, and cost.
- Lead and collaborate with multi-functional teams to drive project success.
- Manage budgets effectively using Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS).
- Build relationships and communicate complex information to executive audiences.
- Oversee subcontractor relationships and ensure alignment with project goals.
- Implement Risks and Opportunities (R&O) management to enhance project outcomes.
- Travel as needed to various locations.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship with an active Secret Clearance and ability to achieve TS/SCI/SAP/SAR.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or business-related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience leading technical and program teams.
- Experience as a Project Manager with financial acumen and budget management skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience in risk and opportunity management.
- Willingness and flexibility for travel.
Preferred Qualifications
- Active Top Secret Clearance with ability to achieve SCI/SAP/SAR.
- Experience transitioning programs through lifecycle phases, including program launch, technology transition, and transition to production.
- Mastery of lifecycle management and risk & opportunity management processes.
- Experience collaborating across business units and with suppliers.
- Experience managing complex capital projects.
- Master’s degree in a technical discipline.
- Recognition through leadership development programs or high-potential employee initiatives.
Pay
Full-Time Salary Range: $149,603 – $254,317. Individual salaries are determined by factors including business considerations, local market conditions, internal equity, and candidate qualifications such as skills, education, and experience.
