About the role

As a Full-Time (40 hrs./wk.) Program Manager at CSG, you will provide leadership and program oversight in the supervision of intellectual and developmental disability (IDD) Community Homes. You will communicate and foster company values and philosophies while managing daily program operations. The role involves supporting your team through open communication, setting clear expectations, and providing resources, training, and feedback. You will collaborate with residents, families, and providers to identify and achieve meaningful goals, ensuring the health, safety, and welfare of individuals in the program.

CSG’s IDD Community Home Services offer support, including for complex medical needs, enabling residents to live safely and pursue their goals within the community.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise Program Supervisors and monitor/evaluate employee performance according to company policies.
  • Collaborate with the hiring specialist in interviewing, hiring, orienting, and training supervisors and direct support staff.
  • Direct and ensure the effectiveness of the program’s daily operations.
  • Ensure the health, safety, and welfare of individuals in the program.
  • Provide training and oversight related to Incident Management and Medication Administration.
  • Support Program Supervisors in managing staffing coverage in the homes.
  • Participate in the company’s on-call system (for Community Homes and Community-Based Program Managers).
  • Enhance the quality of individuals’ lives by promoting inclusion, recovery, and community integration.
  • Facilitate regular staff meetings and ensure communication with company management.
  • Ensure implementation of individual program and behavioral plans and activities.
  • Oversee documentation required by company, state, or federal regulations.
  • Transport individuals in personal or company vehicles for meetings, appointments, or community activities.
  • Serve as an active member of the service team in coordinating services.
  • Manage program budgets, petty cash, and financial transactions of individuals.
  • Oversee and maintain records for inventory, including company-owned property and individuals’ possessions.
  • Perform the job responsibilities of Program Supervisors when required.

Requirements

This position requires one of the following combinations of education and experience:

  • Master’s degree from an accredited college or university, 1 year of experience working directly with persons with intellectual and/or developmental disability (IDD), and 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, 2 years of experience working directly with persons with IDD, and 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • Associate’s degree or 60 credit hours from an accredited college or university, 4 years of experience working directly with persons with IDD, and 1 year of supervisory experience (except in the ICF/MR setting).
  • High school diploma or equivalency, 6 years of work experience working directly with persons with IDD, and 1 year of supervisory experience (except in the ICF/MR setting).

Additional requirements include:

  • Must have 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, good driving record, and access to a reliable vehicle for trainings, meetings, and transporting individuals.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours.

Pay

Base rate: $23.67/hour, with potential increases based on relevant IDD experience. A $1,000 sign-on bonus is available after successful completion of the initial evaluation period.
