Program Manager, Government Relations & Public Affairs

Position Responsibilities

• Support state and local advocacy plans to advance the company’s policy positions and issue solutions
• Develop, manage, and enable delivery of key messages to important stakeholder audiences
• Manage the identification of government-related business opportunities and facilitate discussions with government
• Identify and inform the company of all matters of interest and provide analysis of legislative or proposed regulations
• Execute the company’s corporate social responsibility and community engagement strategy
• Travel up to 35%
• Other projects or duties as assigned

Required Education And Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree with 6 plus years of Government Relations, Public Affairs and Community Relations experience
• High School Diploma/General Education Degree (GED) and 9 plus years of Government Relations, Public Affairs and Community Relations experience
• Experience in a rapidly changing and fast-paced environment
• Experience managing the needs and concerns of multiple stakeholders
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite i.e., Word, PowerPoint and Excel, etc.
