Program Manager (Fuzing)

Corvid Technologies is seeking an experienced, highly motivated Program Manager to join our growing Fuzing & Safety Device team. This role will lead the development, qualification, and transition to production of advanced fuzing and safety devices for next-generation munitions. The Program Manager will own the cost, schedule, and contractual performance of assigned programs while leading cross-functional teams across Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Finance, Supply Chain, and Contracts. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and problem solver who can build lasting customer relationships, manage competing priorities, and guide teams through complex technical challenges. Key Responsibilities Lead programs from requirements definition and design through prototyping, qualification testing, and transition to Low-Rate Initial Production (LRIP)Serve as the primary customer contact for DoD program offices and prime system integratorsLead major program reviews, including System Requirements Reviews (SRR), Preliminary Design Reviews (PDR), and Critical Design Reviews (CDR)Manage program budgets, establish baselines, track performance, and develop and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS)Coordinate systems, mechanical, electrical, software, and manufacturing engineering teams and supporting functionsIdentify technical, cost, and schedule risks and implement mitigation plansPartner with Contracts and Pricing teams to manage scope, develop Statements of Work (SOW), and support proposals, follow-on efforts, and Engineering Change Proposals (ECP)Ensure program activities meet applicable defense acquisition regulations, FAR/DFARS requirements, and fuzing and ordnance safety requirements Required Qualifications Candidate must be a US Citizen and be eligible to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance Bachelor'sDegree in Engineering or relevant discipline and at least 5 years of relevant work experience with at least a year of program management experience Demonstrated experience managing hardware through design, supply chain, and production activitiesProficiency in Microsoft Project and developing and maintaining Integrated Master SchedulesKnowledge of Earned Value Management principles and defense acquisition lifecycles, including the 5000 seriesStrong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage priorities, customer expectations, and cross-functional accountability Preferred Qualifications Experience with munitions, fuzing, warheads, or defense electronic systemsFamiliarity with fuzing safety review boards and applicable standards, including FISTRP, AFSRB, MIL-STD-1316, MIL-STD-1901, and JOTP-052Project or program management certification, such as PMP About Corvid Corvid Technologies is a unique organization focused on analyzing, developing and manufacturing next generation technology for Aerospace, DoW, and commercial customers.
