Program Manager - Day Program

Job Summary

Join the team at the Developmental Disabilities Resource Center and take on a rewarding leadership role where you'll make a real difference in the lives of individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. As a Program Manager, you'll work onsite in Lakewood from 7:30am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday, guiding a dedicated team of professionals who are passionate about creating a culture rooted in Dedication, Dignity, Respect and Choice.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with other Managers and leaders to embrace and facilitate continuous change, identifying innovative approaches to enhance business practices.
• Engage both employees and participants in our day programs, upholding the mission, vision, and values of DDRC.
• Develop impactful programs that truly meet the needs of those we serve, guided by creativity and person-centered practices.
• Drive quality assurance and enhance the overall experience for individuals with developmental disabilities through ongoing professional growth and learning.
• Play a key role in supervising a dedicated team working directly with individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree in a related field or a combination of experience and education.
• Two years or paid/volunteer experience working with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred.
• A year of staff supervisory experience strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of program planning and development.
• Ability to work effectively as a team member.
• Physical stamina to assist individuals safely, including the ability to stand, pivot, and transfer.
• Manual dexterity for personal care and adaptive equipment support.
