About the role
We are seeking a Program Manager, Community Health to join our mission-driven organization. This role is open for full telework within the State of California, with at least two days per week in the main office in Orange, CA.
Responsibilities
- Supports the integration of health equity principles into policies, programs, and quality improvement activities.
- Collaborates with providers, community partners, and local stakeholders to reduce racial/ethnic disparities and improve care management.
- Manages cross-functional projects and ensures alignment with departmental strategic objectives.
- Works with CalOptima Health's executives, department management, legal counsel, and regulatory agencies.
- Coordinates data management and supports health equity efforts aligned with regulatory agencies.
- Develops and implements innovative pilots and programs in line with CalOptima Health's priorities.
- Tracks and reports on health equity and strategic plan priorities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in public health, healthcare administration, or related field required.
- 3+ years of experience in program development, preferably in the health care industry.
- Master's degree in public health, health administration, or related field preferred.
- Experience working in a highly matrixed, mission-driven organization.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Flexibility to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
- Knowledge of computer applications and software relevant to the position.
Skills
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Sound judgment and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay
The pay grade for this role is 311, with a range of $77,863 - $124,581 annually ($37.43 - $59.8947/hour).
Schedule
This role is approved for full telework within the State of California only. Employees may be required to work in the main office in Orange, CA, at least two days per week.
