Contract position, 40 hours per week. Pay range: $50–$70/hour, depending on experience.
About the role
You will manage large, complex programs that span multiple IT and/or business departments. Responsibilities include supporting the initiation, planning, execution, and finalization of programs and projects according to deadlines and budget, coordinating team members, contractors, and third-party vendors.
Responsibilities
- Create a roadmap/plan for multiple related work efforts that roll up into a program-level plan to manage cross-functional teams and project dependencies, milestones, and deliverables.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Proactively perform risk management and identify issues across functions and inter-dependent efforts.
- Effectively facilitate meetings with large audiences and/or broad/complex topics.
- Confidently liaise with program stakeholders at varying levels of the organization, manage expectations, and provide program-level status via strategic dialog, presentations, and written communications.
- Monitor project financials and recommend budget changes where necessary.
- Provide oversight across multiple projects to identify and resolve conflicts, resource constraints, and clear critical path.
Other duties, responsibilities, and qualifications may be required and/or assigned as necessary.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer information systems, project management, or related fields.
- Seven years of direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects from project initiation through execution and delivery.
Preferred Skills
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Experience in the hospitality industry.
- Knowledge of project management tools; Smartsheet preferred.
- Agile delivery/project management-related experience on IT projects.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
