Key Responsibilities & Role Highlights

  • Provide leadership and oversight for all day-to-day operations of the Children's Wellness Campus, ensuring a safe, therapeutic, and structured environment for youth receiving residential behavioral health services.
  • Supervise, mentor, and support multidisciplinary staff, including direct care, clinical, and support team members, through coaching, performance management, scheduling, and ongoing professional development.
  • Ensure compliance with agency, state, and accreditation standards by maintaining accurate documentation, monitoring program performance, implementing quality improvement initiatives, and supporting audit readiness.
  • Collaborate with clinical leadership, families, schools, and community partners to coordinate individualized treatment services that promote positive behavioral, emotional, and social outcomes for youth.
  • Champion a trauma-informed and youth-centered culture by fostering engagement, supporting crisis intervention efforts, promoting best practices in behavioral health care, and ensuring the highest quality of services for children and adolescents.

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Behavioral Health, Social Work, Nursing, Psychology, Human Services, or a related field required; Master’s Degree preferred.
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience working with children and adolescents with behavioral health needs required; residential treatment or behavioral health program experience strongly preferred.
  • Clinical licensure preferred, including RN, LSW, LISW, LPC, LPCC, or other related behavioral health credentials.
  • Demonstrated leadership, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to supervise, mentor, and support multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, child and adolescent development, and best practices in residential behavioral health treatment.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with families, clinical staff, community partners, and external stakeholders to support positive outcomes for youth.
  • Proficiency with electronic health record systems, documentation standards, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to maintain compliance with agency policies, accreditation standards, and applicable state and federal regulations.
  • Flexible, solution-focused, and adaptable with a commitment to fostering a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment for youth and staff.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and on-call responsibilities as needed to support program operations.
