About the role
The Program Manager Bariatric, reporting to the senior most Quality Management leader of the Ministry, supports the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation Program of the hospitals assigned. This individual will demonstrate expertise in quality management and performance improvement.
Responsibilities
- Meets expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders
- Communicate effectively to different audiences
- Proficient in computer skills using EXCEL, PowerPoint, clinical systems and registry databases
- Knowledgeable on High Reliability Principles and PDSA methodology

Requirements
- Education/Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required
- Experience: Three years of healthcare experience required, two years of quality management experience preferred
- Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications: RN License required in state of employment, Certified Bariatric Nurse (CBN) from the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery required within 2 years of hire, CPHQ (Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality) preferred, Basic Life Support (BLS) required
