About the role

The Senior Program Manager is responsible for leading complex projects and strategic programs that support the organization's business goals. This role oversees the project and systems team, establishes and maintains project management best practices, and ensures successful execution of initiatives from planning through implementation. The ideal candidate combines strong leadership, strategic thinking, and technical project management expertise to drive results, improve operational efficiency, and deliver high-impact business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale projects and programs from initiation through implementation, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, and budgets.
• Develop and manage project plans, including scope, schedules, milestones, resource requirements, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Continuously enhance project management processes, tools, and methodologies to improve delivery effectiveness and organizational performance.
• Provide leadership and guidance to project and systems teams while establishing consistent project management standards and best practices.
• Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high-performing work environment focused on exceptional customer service and operational excellence.
• Mentor, develop, and support project management professionals to drive team growth and success.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with executive leadership and key stakeholders.
• Communicate project progress, challenges, milestones, and recommendations in a clear and timely manner.
• Partner with business leaders and change management teams to support organizational readiness, training initiatives, and successful adoption of new processes and technologies.
• Ensure employees are equipped to effectively transition through project-related changes.
• Identify, evaluate, and proactively manage project risks, dependencies, and potential obstacles.
• Develop mitigation plans and coordinate with stakeholders to minimize project impacts and maintain momentum.
• Effectively allocate project resources and identify additional staffing needs to ensure successful project execution without compromising quality or budget objectives.
• Partner with compliance and business teams to ensure projects adhere to company standards, policies, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Maintain awareness of compliance obligations across local, state, and federal jurisdictions.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience leading complex programs and projects.
• Experience utilizing Jira for project tracking, release management, and Agile delivery.
