About the role

Odyssey Systems has an exciting new opportunity for a Program Manager supporting the Mobile Consolidated Communications Systems Program Office within the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center. The MC2S Program Office team provides a full range of modernization and sustainment acquisition support to the MC2S, performing technical studies, designing solutions for modernization projects, managing platform configurations, coordinating programmed depot maintenance and unprogrammed depot‑level repairs, supporting cybersecurity requirements, and managing testing of the products. This position is located onsite full‑time at F.E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyoming, supporting AFNWC/NCCM, with occasional CONUS travel (approximately 10%). Responsibilities

• Apply comprehensive knowledge of DoDI 5000.02 and 5000.75 for systems acquisition and program management, and understand roles and relationships within the DoD and Air Force.
• Use qualitative and quantitative techniques to gather, analyze, and measure the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of acquisition programs.
• Support activities that assist the PM in assessing program schedule and cost baselines, recommend viable solutions and alternative courses of action.
• Communicate effectively orally and in writing, producing quality acquisition and program documentation (briefings, documents, plans).
• Plan, research, analyze, and assess system acquisition regarding development, production, and deployment of weapons systems and associated equipment; formulate plans and recommend strategies to meet cost, schedule, and performance objectives.
• Provide support and develop briefings/schedules of program status and acquisition tasks for senior management.
• Possess expert knowledge, experience, and recognized ability as an industry leader in the technical/professional field.
• Initiate, oversee, and/or develop requirements from project inception to conclusion for complex to extremely complex programs.
• Provide strategic advice, technical guidance, and expertise to program and project staff.
• Perform detailed analyses, evaluations, and recommendations for improvements, optimization, development, and/or maintenance efforts for client‑specific or mission‑critical challenges.
• Consult with clients to define needs or problems; oversee studies; lead surveys to collect and analyze data to advise and recommend solutions.
• Oversee efforts of junior, journeyman, and senior contractor personnel across multiple technical/professional disciplines.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• U.S. Citizenship.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Education and experience options:
  • High School Diploma and fifteen (15) years of directly related experience, including eight (8) years of DoD experience;
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and twelve (12) years of experience, including five (5) years of DoD experience;
  • Master’s degree in a related field and ten (10) years of experience, including five (5) years of DoD experience.
