About the Role
The Dialysis Program Manager oversees and advances the hospital's hemodialysis program, ensuring safe and effective patient care through policy implementation and staff supervision. They manage dialysis staff, coordinate with hospital management and community partners, and serve as the program's face in various settings.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with guidelines for safe dialysis practices.
- Organize and supervise the dialysis program operations.
- Implement policies for quality and safety standards.
- Lead and supervise dialysis staff to deliver high-quality care.
- Represent the program in hospital and community engagements.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address patient concerns promptly.
Requirements
- Current RN licensure, CPR certification, and ACLS within one year (preferred: CRRN).
- Experience in inpatient hospital settings and dialysis nursing (preferred).
- Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently, make decisions, and manage time effectively.
- Flexible availability for varied shifts.
