Program Manager

KBR’s National Security Solutions team provides high-end engineering and advanced technology solutions to customers in the intelligence and national security communities. In this role, your work will have a profound impact on protecting national security.

About the role

This is a contingent position based upon contract award. KBR is seeking a highly qualified Program Manager (PM) to support our government customer in Northern Virginia. The PM provides daily program management and oversight for all tasks and requirements associated with this contract, ensuring all services are delivered and tasks are performed within established program guidelines and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact to the Government customer on both program and technical issues.
• Plan, direct, and schedule the timely and successful accomplishment of the effort described in the SOW.
• Ensure submission of all deliverables under this contract.
• Exercise direct control over the Contractor team.
• Provide technical and analytical guidance to the project team; recommend and take action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems.
• Provide management services including general administrative oversight, time accounting, financial tracking, cost projection, inventory management, personnel evaluation, and support.
• Prepare and maintain accountability for all contract deliverables.
• Assist in the technical leadership and direction of a multidisciplinary staff.
• Prepare and approve Standard Operating Procedures, Protocols, and other technical documentation.
• Supervise, manage, support, and evaluate personnel.

Requirements

• Current and active TOP SECRET / SCI security clearance.
• Experience managing enterprise IT O&M support and system enhancement projects.
• Experience providing technical management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments.
• Experience establishing goals and plans to meet project objectives.
• Experience with financial management, performance management methods, and staffing to ensure technical requirements are met.
• Experience managing and supervising contractor employees and/or subcontractor employees.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree or higher in Business or STEM and 6 years of experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business or STEM and 8 years of experience.
• High school or High School Equivalency Diploma and 12 years of experience.

Desired Qualifications

• Experience in an IC, military, or other Government environment performing in an Engineering / IT management capacity.
• Experience interacting in client negotiations and interfacing with senior management.
• Expert technical experience in IT Program Management.
• Previous Defense Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level III Program Management certification or Federal Acquisition Certification for Program and Project Managers (FAC P/PM) Level 3.

Pay

Basic compensation: $182,800 - $223,500 (This range is for the Washington DC Metro Area only). The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
