Program Manager

Leads the planning, execution, and evaluation of complex organizational initiatives, acting as a high-level expert in data-driven decision-making. Analyzes performance metrics, mitigates risks, oversees budget processing, and develops policies to improve efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and advise staff
• Interface with senior leadership
• Deliver executive-level briefings
• Analyze performance data and conduct risk assessments
• Manage schedules and budgets
• Create, refine, and recommend policies, procedures, and best practices
• Provide reports, briefings, and other written products to senior leadership, Government counterparts, and clients

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship
• Active (or the ability to obtain and maintain a) Top Secret security clearance
• Bachelor’s or higher degree in public administration, business, social science, or a related field
• At least 15 years of Federal, state, or private sector work experience focused on policy, analytical, program management, research, and work under minimal supervision on high-stakes, sensitive projects
• Experience with the National Guard and related experience in Mission Assurance and Mission Assurance-Related Programs and Activities (preferred)

Skills

• Strong ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and conduct research
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong ability to work independently, troubleshoot under pressure, and act as a liaison between the DoD, state, and local agencies
• Proficiency with ETMS2 and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to evaluate situations and provide/create effective solutions
