Program Manager

About the Role

This position involves a blend of project delivery and leadership responsibilities within the Program Management Office (PMO). You will oversee multiple project teams, ensuring all projects align with Hanley Energy’s culture and ethos while achieving program goals. The role includes mentoring project managers, leading root cause analysis for project issues, and optimizing processes through automation and methodology improvements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all projects in the program are delivered in line with company culture and objectives.
• Lead and evaluate the performance of Project Managers, Project Coordinators, and other team members; support recruitment for vacant PMO positions.
• Mentor and support the Project Team, acting as an escalation point for serious issues or risks.
• Conduct root cause analysis of project-related issues and implement corrective actions.
• Manage Program Governance by reviewing and improving process methodology, including automation to enhance efficiency.
• Oversee multiple Project Teams to ensure program goals are met.
• Support the Management Team in decision-making related to procurement, staff utilization, sales, and forecasting.
• Monitor the status and progress of all projects, communicating updates and potential risks/opportunities to the Management Team.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships through active engagement in scheduling, forecasting, and reporting.
