Program Manager

About the role

The Program Manager (PM) is sought to help Grant Engine realize non-dilutive funding awards on behalf of our clients. We assist in the development and communication of a winning grant submission and add value to our clients through a unique approach. The PM role involves developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing industry-focused clients, ensuring client needs are met, and managing the execution of assigned projects in alignment with Grant Engine’s key goals.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing industry-focused clients
• Ensure client needs are met
• Manage milestones, timelines, and expectations for the delivery team
• Lead and manage the full range of activities required to conceptualize, prepare, submit, and manage grant proposals to NIH, NSF, DoD, and other government agencies
• Interface effectively and efficiently with executives, scientists, contract research organizations, and internal Grant Engine personnel
• Identify and mitigate risks to project success before they occur
• Contribute to a culture of teamwork, learning, and professional development by maintaining clear communication with internal teams and clients, and sharing insights and lessons learned from proposal delivery

Requirements

• Experience in program management
• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
• Initiative and the ability to find the right answer
• Humility in the face of adversity and under demanding deadlines

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of grant writing and submission processes
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Knowledge of federal funding opportunities and regulations
• Experience working with government agencies
• Strong organizational and time management skills
