On-siteInformation Technology$60k–$80k/yrFull-time

Full-time, 100% in-office position based in Brooklyn, NY.

About the company

Doris Dev is a consumer product development company that helps companies create new products and bring them to market. With offices in Brooklyn (DDNY) and Hong Kong (DDHK), Doris Dev works with startups and established companies across consumer categories including hardware and electronics, cookware, soft-goods, and packaging. The company also incubates internal brands such as Canopy and Rally, supporting them from launch through growth.

About the role

Doris Dev is seeking a Program Manager who enjoys owning robust projects, solving problems, and providing a high level of service to internal and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will build deep knowledge of the product development process, wear many hats, and coordinate people and processes to ensure projects are executed on time. This role is part of the DDNY Program team and reports to the Head of Product. Day-to-day, the Program Manager interfaces with stakeholders from client brands — including leadership, product, operations, marketing, brand strategy, and finance — as well as with Doris Dev’s design, development, manufacturing, and operations teams.

Responsibilities

  • Work daily with Design, Development, Manufacturing, and Operations teams.
  • Serve as the primary internal stakeholder for the client, ensuring work aligns with the client’s vision and priorities at every step.
  • Coordinate and oversee the product development process: front-end design, supply chain setup, delivery of finished goods, and ongoing client work.
  • Manage timelines and budgets to keep programs on track and within budget; clearly capture and communicate changes to internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Maintain a detailed understanding of expected product priorities through the development cycle — features, materials, timeline, and cost.
  • Build and present assets to clients regularly, gathering input from Design, Engineering, Operations, and supply partners as needed.
  • Maintain timely, clear communication across multiple channels with clients.
  • Build trusted advisor relationships with key client stakeholders to sustain long-lasting partnerships.
  • When necessary, communicate with client-side design, technical, and safety leads to understand needs and convey them to the Doris Dev product team and supply chain partners.
  • Ensure client data, information, and assets are organized and easily accessible for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Oversee day-to-day project management responsibilities for clients, ensuring action items are well defined and understood.
  • Coordinate with DDNY and DDHK design and engineering teams to ensure development requirements and work-plans are scoped and executed per client requirements.
  • Mitigate risk and flag potential issues before they arise.
  • Own project kickoffs, ensuring the full team is aligned on project scope and priorities.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in a program/product management role.
  • Experience organizing assets into cohesive workstreams for shared visibility (e.g., preparing and updating GANTT charts, budgets, presentations) and presenting to executive teams or external clients.
  • Experience managing multiple programs simultaneously at varying stages of progress with cross-functional teams.
  • Team player who values clear communication and building consensus among multiple stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented and goal-driven.
  • Able and willing to work independently, but proactive in asking for clarification when needed.
  • Experience managing large SKU assortments through product commercialization/launch.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft/Adobe suites and program management tools (Microsoft Project, Smartsheets, Asana, Monday, ClickUp, Jira).

Preferred qualifications

  • PMP certification with applied experience.
  • Experience commercializing physical products, working with suppliers and vendors from concept to market.
  • Experience with supply chain and operational service partners, including overseas/domestic suppliers, importers, freight carriers, and warehouses.
  • Background at an e-commerce company.
  • Experience with early-stage startups.

Schedule

Because coordination with the Hong Kong office requires meetings outside traditional 9–6 hours, team members are trusted to manage their schedules and take appropriate measures for their wellbeing.

Benefits

  • Two weeks paid vacation
  • Paid sick days
  • Employer-sponsored 401(k) plan
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance

Pay

Salary range based on experience: $60,000 – $80,000.
