Program Manager

About the Role

CRi is seeking a Program Manager for its Residential program located in Richmond, VA. The Program Manager serves as the leader of the program, creating an environment that enables CRi to fulfill its mission and meet or exceed its goals. This role requires effective communication of the organization’s mission and philosophy to all program members and supports staff in exercising appropriate authority and responsibility.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Manages the program budget.
• Responsible for the quality of the facility and equipment.
• Serves as the initial point of contact and agency liaison for families, public and private agencies, and the neighborhood.
• Under the Clinical Director’s direction, integrates the program with CRi’s philosophy.
• Coordinates and integrates program series including admission, discharge, and service planning.
• Conducts orientation, in‑service training, continuing education, and supervision of all persons in the program.
• Approves assessments, individualized service plans, and reassessments.
• Ensures quality of record keeping.
• Implements a defined set of patient rights and responsibilities.
• Implements approved clinical policies and procedures.
• Responsible for implementing Performance Improvement activities according to CRi’s policy and procedures.
• Maintains program compliance with regulatory requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in a related field.
• Five (5) years of experience in the field, with supervisory experience of at least four (4) people.
• Experience in supervision, budgeting, crisis intervention, assessment, and service planning.
• Experience working with the ID/DD population and behavior management.
• Qualified as a QIDP (Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional):
  • Bachelor’s degree in human services or a related field.
  • At least one year of documented experience working directly with individuals who have intellectual or other developmental disabilities.
  • Experience with individuals who have physical disabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Human Services or a related field.
