Core Responsibilities
- Oversee the lifecycle of project from initiation to delivery, including planning, execution and risk management
- Strengthen relationship with customer to understand their needs and requirements and ensure requirements are met through project deliverables and within the project timeline discussed
- Communicate effectively with customer on project status and risks and milestones to both technical and nontechnical external stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross functional teams, including Business Development, Technical and Manufacturing teams to ensure that project is on track for a successful delivery
- Develop and strengthen relationship with customer across different teams and key stakeholders and act as the primary point of contact for all customer-related matters
- Travel to visit customers and attend meetings
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Engineering or relevant field
- Ph.D or Master’s degree in a battery-related field is a plus
- 2+ years of experience in a Program Manager role
- Experience managing state and federally funded programs is preferred
- Proven ability to partner with technical and commercial teams to manage complex projects
- Strong experience in complex project management skills that involve delivering on customer programs
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Self-starter with an ability to operate on his/her own initiative
- Creative problem solver and able to juggle multiple projects at any given time
Location & Benefits
San Leandro, CA. Full-time. $100,000-135,000. Salary and equity options dependent on experience.
