Program Manager

Job Title: Program Manager – Messaging Programs & Financials Location: Hybrid – Hartford, CT About The Company Our client is one of the largest healthcare organizations in the U.S. and serves millions of members through its health plans and consumer health services. Its Messaging & Innovation group builds personalized, multi-channel member communications, including RCS rich messaging, that help members take action on their health and benefits. Job Summary We're looking for a Program Manager to keep the messaging group's work organized and its finances on track. You'll own the financial picture of the RCS messaging program, tracking spend, forecasting and measuring business impact, while also running the program management work that keeps the team aligned: planning, resourcing, status reporting and leadership updates. The role suits someone with strong financial acumen who is comfortable acting as a right hand to senior leadership. Key Responsibilities Track and manage the financial impact of the RCS messaging program, including budget, spend, forecasts and ROI.Build financial models and reports that show program value and support investment decisions.Organize resources and work across the team, keeping priorities, capacity and dependencies visible.Build and manage program plans, timelines, RAID logs and status reporting across multiple workstreams.Prepare leadership updates, business reviews and executive presentations.Coordinate with finance, operations, technology and business partners to keep initiatives moving.Find and fix gaps in planning, reporting and operating processes. Requirements 5+ years of program or project management experience.Strong financial acumen, with hands-on experience in budgeting, forecasting or financial tracking for programs.Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling and reporting.Experience managing complex, cross-functional initiatives and reporting to senior leaders.Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive-ready presentations.Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Smartsheet, MS Project) and the Microsoft Office suite. Preferred Qualifications Healthcare, health insurance or other regulated-industry experience.Experience with digital, messaging or marketing programs (SMS, RCS, email, push).Familiarity with cloud platforms such as GCP.Chief of staff, business operations or FP&A background.PMP, PgMP or Agile certification.
